Advent is an amazing time of year filled with anticipation and preparation. The 24 days before Christmas are almost as special as Christmas Day itself. So lets ditch the Chocolate Advent Calendar and make something more amazing and special for your family this Christmas. Below are some fantastic ideas for a new journey through Christmas. Start your tradition this year!
An Advent Candle is amustfor your table. Enjoy family dinners every night and take turns at blowing out the candle at just the right time!
Nut Cracker countdowns. We have beautiful wooden nutcrackers with interchangeable blocks to count down those precious 24 days.
Write the numbers in Snow! Cover a platter in snow, surround it with berries and foliage and each day write in the snow how many days left until Christmas!
Advent Book Stack. Wrap 24 Christmas stories in beautiful paper. Each night your children can open one. Brilliant for snuggling up in bed and reading to them.
Cally Bear. This amazing, animated bear counts down the 365 days until Christmas. He plays a Christmas song each day and on Christmas day he plays all of the Christmas songs for over an hour!
The Advent Sock Calender. Peg 24 brightly coloured socks to a ribbon. Number them and pop an ornament or a cracker in each. This looks great hanging from a mantle or down a banister!
